I’m 23!

May is off to an incredible start. 

Yesterday was my first day as an official full-time account coordinator at Proximity. I now receive a full salary plus benefits and bragging rights of truly belonging to one of the greatest digital agencies…ever. 

Not to mention, the warm weather has finally arrived! I celebrated that fact today by taking a nice, long walk after work to the train station and shopping as I went along, buying two gorgeous dresses and calling them my birthday outfits. It was two hours later before I even arrived at Union, and I had worked up quite the sweat and some sore feet (having walked in heeled booties), but I felt fantastic. 

I do believe May 2013 is trying to top May 2012. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what else happens this month!

I marathoned the entire first season of The Walking Dead yesterday. Finally on the bandwagon. Thanks to Erin for giving me the final push. Must get my hands on season 2…

Spent the whole day sick in bed but ended up marathoning all seven episodes of Vikings in one go. Needless to say, I’ve just gotten hooked onto another show and I love it.

And ending up seeing said cute boy even when you didn’t think you would that day.

The Little Things #82 I came home early from work today, since I was getting progressively sicker and sicker as the day went by, and found something on my front doorstep that has cheered me up immensely—the last of my Boxing Day sale goodies! It doesn’t feel like Christmas has ended yet. You wouldn’t believe how little I paid for this beautiful pile of DVDs. It was also beginning to kill me that so much time had passed without me owning a hard copy of Like Crazy and Midnight In Paris. Yay! Now, for a nice long nap…

The Little Things #82

Just another fandom I got hooked on before I even knew what was going on. Thanks to Nicole for that! Now I’m always on edge for the clock to turn 12PM on video-release days… How lovely was today’s Lydia video? Wes Aderhold is a god. ;)

The Little Things #80

Megan & Kyle.

I love it when I see their eyes brighten and their lips part into wide smiles. I love how quickly Kyle is growing, and how sassy Megan has become. It amazes me how Kyle can find so much delight in playing “Peek-a-boo” and how fast he can crawl around the house now. I love that Megan made me “supervise” while Stephanie bathed her tonight, and how we sat together in her dimly-lit room while she drank warm milk before she brushed her teeth and I put her to bed. I love how we laid there and she gave me kisses and put her arms around me while she tried to fall asleep. 

I just love them both so much. They are my whole world, my true sweethearts.

I’m still receiving Christmas presents!

I finally received her gift for me in the mail! I must also admit that I screamed a little when I discovered the contents: Typewriter Series #147 by the ever-talented Tyler Knott Gregson and an adorable owl-themed card (and as she pointed out, since I got her an owl mug… twinning!). Amazing.
