My trip to Chicago to visit Erin.
Taking a vacation.
I am officially out of the office for ten whole days. This is my first time taking a vacation since I started working at the agency over a year ago. Given that it’s been so crazy busy and hectic lately, it’s a relieving feeling to be able to say that I get to step away from it all for a little while to regroup, have some fun with my family, and enjoy the summer.
We fly out for Orlando on Sunday morning for a week. I am finally going to be visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That realization still hasn’t fully sunk in yet. I am so grateful to finally be going and to take a week to be a kid again - running around Universal Studios and Disney World. I absolutely can’t wait.
I just booked my flight to Chicago for Labour Day weekend.
SEE YOU IN 50 1/2 DAYS, ERIN!!!1
Having such a good night that you can’t help but re-live it in your mind over and over again.
This year is supposed to be all about courage. Starting to take improv classes at the beginning of June really felt like I was taking on that challenge, being brave, and trying something new. So far, it has been one of the best experiences of my life. The June weekly classes ended last night, but I have signed on for a few more in July when my work party schedule permits, and I absolutely cannot wait to continue.
The best is the feeling I get after walking out of that class - buzzing with energy and confidence, and feeling like I can take on the world.
Unexpectedly having an incredible night filled with friends, fun, and adventure.
Like biting into heaven.
